In Part II, from September 14 to October 31, AIAFF 2009 will tour universities in Georgia: Emory University, Georgia Tech, Georgia State University, Kennesaw State University, Georgia College and State University, State University of West Georgia and Clayton State University.
AIAFF was originally founded by Ani Agnihotri, the Director of the Indo-American Film Society. “This year,” says Agnihotri, “we are bringing the Atlanta community a unique group of films, including twelve films from the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC), India. The primary goal of the NFDC is to plan, promote and organize an integrated and efficient development of the Indian film industry and foster excellence in cinema. Over the years NFDC has provided a wide range of services essential to the growth of Indian cinema.
