Fourth Annual
Atlanta-Indo American Film Festival

The fourth annual Atlanta Indo-American Film Festival will take place in Atlanta from August 21st thru October 31, 2009. AIAFF 2009 is organized by the Indo-American Film Society and High Museum of Art, with the support of the National Film Development Corporation of India (NFDC), Lufthansa German Airlines (http://www.lufthansa.com), Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, Georgia Deptt. of Economic Development, USIII and other sponsors.

The first part of AIAFF 2009 will take place at the High Museum of Art Atlanta and is titled as “Treasures from India's National Film Development Corporation.” The primary goal of the NFDC is to plan, promote and organize an integrated and efficient development of the Indian film industry and foster excellence in cinema. Over the years NFDC has provided a wide range of services essential to the growth of Indian cinema.

The fourth annual Atlanta Indo-American Film Festival (AIAFF 2009) will be a fascinating eleven-weekend long journey into Indian cinema. The festival will be divided in two parts and features. Part I is titled as “Treasures from India’s National Film Development Corporation’” and will be held at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta from August 21 to September 13.

In Part II, from September 14 to October 31, AIAFF 2009 will tour several leading universities in Georgia: Emory University, Georgia Tech, Georgia State University, Kennesaw State University, Georgia College and State University, State University of West Georgia and Clayton State University.
